Charles Page, President and Lead Facilitator of Cool Spring Center, Inc. has joined the University of North Carolina at Charlotte School of Health and Human Services, Department of Social Work Community Advisory Board.
The purpose of the Community Advisory Board is to educate the broader community about the Social Work profession, to enlist wide-spread support of and for the UNC-C Department of Social Work, and to be instrumental in facilitating mutually beneficial relationships between students, faculty, alumni, and all members of the larger community, including the for profit and non-profit sectors.
The Community Advisory Board is committed to the continuous enhancement of quality Social Work services and education. The intent is to provide general guidance and advice, feedback, support, encouragement, and resources to the Social Work program in an effort to reduce barriers that preclude the growth and development of quality Social work services and education.
Charles is highly regarded nationwide as a leader through his accomplishments with United Way of Central Carolinas, where he served for over 25 years, retiring as a Senior Vice President for Community Building in 2004. At Cool Spring Center he works with companies and organizations that want to develop and implement sustained improvement in the workplace.
