Charles Page, President and Lead Facilitator of Cool Spring Center, Inc. was recently invited to present at the 2006 Fiscal, Personnel & Technology Conference for the North Carolina Association of County Directors of Social Services (NCACDSS). Over 350 directors, board members and partner organizations from all over North Carolina attended the three-day conference in Durham, NC.
Page presented “Decoding the Community Resources Code,” which focused on accessing community resources and grant writing. The topic included the “how to” and “what not to do” to leverage resources and how to develop an abundant attitude approach to funding your priority issues. Increasing local needs and limited resources made this topic a practical priority for attendees.
The North Carolina Association of County Directors of Social Services is a future- oriented source of leadership for its members, policy makers, partners and the general public that improves public policy and strengthens the capacity of local county departments to deliver effective services to families and individuals.
Page is highly regarded nationwide as a leading consultant and facilitator through his accomplishments with United Way of Central Carolinas, where he served for over 25 years, retiring as a Senior Vice President for Community Building in 2004.
